This took my breath away...
We were lucky enough to spend most of August and early September in the USA spending time with our son and his family, something we have been trying to do since 2018!
We had a terrific stay and spent quality time with our children and grandchildren and seeing first-hand how the USA has changed in those five years. There is plenty for me to reflect on and perhaps let you know in the future, but for this week one of the many things we did was visit the Harley Davidson complex in Milwaukee.
The sun was hot (104F degree!) but that didn’t stop literally hundreds of bikers descending upon the complex and having a great time. The museum was fascinating coupled with the ancillary attractions such as a rock band, mini-moto bike racing and BMX stunts (hence the picture). Plus, obligatory food and beer on tap made for a tremendous day.
All done in a typical USA slick, professional and fun way.
The bottom line for all this was that at every corner there was an opportunity for you to enjoy yourself and spend money.
As ever the Americans are not backwoods at selling to you and with no apologies for doing so – it’s what makes their business world go around.
It reminded me that back home our natural Britishness tends to hide our light and frankly in these challenging times we simply can’t afford to do so.
Be aware therefore that to win in our current environment you will have to shout from the roof tops what you have to offer and in a professional way.
So, I make no apology for letting you know each week of our plans, our offerings and how we can help you.
And if you need a hand you know where we are!
Until the next time…
Peter
