Times have Changed.
I was lucky enough to speak at the FSB Bootcamp in Shropshire last Wednesday to an audience of well over one hundred attendees. It was great to be back on-stage sharing thoughts on how to improve our businesses together.
Part of my keynote was suggesting my belief that there has been a fundamental shift in people’s minds. Many are looking at both their lives, and consequently, their businesses, in a quite different way to pre-lockdown.
This shift is now affecting all our daily lives and thought patterns…
We even have a Prime Minister providing different ideas – no let’s not go there!
The thing is, just like the seasons (and whether we like it or not), change is a constant and our businesses must react accordingly.
The Family Business Practice has done so recently by altering its Check-In events to now twice monthly live stream sessions.
And our monthly HUDDLE get-togethers are being sponsored, allowing members to meet new people and at a reduced cost to their business so everyone wins!
My personal business consultancy is currently under major review as I look to provide new exciting services and collaborations keeping my offering both fresh and interesting in a changing business environment.
Most of all, as I suggested in last week’s missive, most of us want simplicity, clarity, and honesty… and people who provide that are in demand.
